Personal Effects Customs Clearance
In order for us to customs clear your personal effects which are about to arrive into Australia, we require the following paperwork from you:
- An itemised inventory of the shipment
- A copy of the shipping documents (air waybill or bill of lading)
- A completed personal effects statement (see links below for the appropriate form)
- If you hold an Australian passport, we only require the photo page from the passport to be forwarded with the documents
- If you are not an Australian passport holder, we require every page (including the blank pages) of the passport to be copied and forwarded with the documents
- Lastly, we will require a completed authorisation.
If your personal effects will arrive via airfreight or a few pallets will arrive via sea freight please email info@platinumfreight.com.au for a quote. If your shipment will arrive as a full shipping container, please request a 60 second Personal Effects Customs Clearance quote from our website.
