Personal Effects Customs Clearance

In order for us to customs clear your personal effects which are about to arrive into Australia, we require the following paperwork from you:

An itemised inventory of the shipment
A copy of the shipping documents (air waybill or bill of lading)
A completed personal effects statement (see links below for the appropriate form)
If you hold an Australian passport, we only require the photo page from the passport to be forwarded with the documents
If you are not an Australian passport holder, we require every page (including the blank pages) of the passport to be copied and forwarded with the documents
Lastly, we will require a completed authorisation.

If your personal effects will arrive via airfreight or a few pallets will arrive via sea freight please email info@platinumfreight.com.au for a quote. If your shipment will arrive as a full shipping container, please request a 60 second Personal Effects Customs Clearance quote from our website.
