Platinum Connect

Living by the motto, “simply no higher level of service“, commencing in January 2010, Platinum Freight began a new service called “Platinum Connect“. This is a unique initiative designed to assist those customers who are attempting to “tap into” the Australian market place.

Platinum Connect will customs clear the goods which belong to overseas jewellers and wholesalers who wish to ship their goods to Australia in one shipment.

Platinum Freight will:

• customs clear the goods through Australian Customs
• distribute the goods (jewellery / pamphlets / brochures ) throughout Australia
• issue the customer overseas with one invoice for customs clearance
• assist the customer overseas by distributing their brand and product without
  the customers physical presence in Australia

An example of how Platinum Connect works:

The supplier / manufacturer may be based in Switzerland, the customer may be based in Germany (because they are not in Australia they find it hard to rely upon someone to work with them and someone who can do the whole process…), the goods are shipped to Platinum Freight Management, we open the box and then distribute all of the individual parcels within Australia.
